Hey! Have you seen the lineup for this spring? If you’re like me and you’re already itching for some sunshine and good vibes, Nashville is the place to be. Music City isn’t just about country music anymore; it’s turning into a massive hub for sports, food, and some seriously cool cultural festivals.
I’ve put together a list of the top 13 things you’ve got to check out. Whether you’re a local or just planning a weekend getaway, your spring calendar is about to get a lot more exciting.
1. Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball (Feb 4 – March 1)
You don’t want to miss this. Some of the world’s most elite women’s basketball players are taking over the Municipal Auditorium. In fact, it’s a rare chance to see WNBA stars competing in a high-stakes, professional environment right here in town.
2. 2026 SheBelieves Cup (March 1)
Soccer fans, get your jerseys ready! The U.S. Women’s National Team is opening this prestigious tournament at GEODIS Park. Watching them face off against Argentina is going to be an electric experience. Without a doubt, the energy in the stadium will be through the roof.
3. Cheekwood in Bloom (March 7 – April 12)

Imagine walking through a sea of 250,000 red and white tulips. Actually, it’s Cheekwood’s way of celebrating America’s 250th anniversary, and it’s breathtaking. You can grab a snack from a food truck and enjoy some live jazz while you wander the gardens. It’s the ultimate spring “reset.”
4. SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament (March 11–15)

The madness is coming to Bridgestone Arena! Furthermore, downtown Nashville turns into one giant party when the SEC fans roll into town. Even if you aren’t a die-hard sports fan, the atmosphere is contagious and well worth experiencing.
5. Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival (March 24–28)
This is my favorite “only in Nashville” event. Indeed, it’s the world’s largest songwriter festival where you get to hear the stories behind the hits. Seeing these artists perform in intimate venues is a much more personal way to experience the music you love.
6. Whiskey Warmer (March 28)
If you enjoy a good pour, this is your night. Distillers will be pouring samples of premier whiskey, bourbon, and scotch. Moreover, it’s not just about drinking; it’s an education from the experts. You’ll leave with a whole new appreciation for the craft.
7. Music in the Vines at Arrington Vineyards (Weekends in April)
Looking for the perfect weekend vibe? Arrington Vineyards starts their free jazz and bluegrass sessions in April. As a result, you can pack a picnic, do a wine tasting, and enjoy the rolling hills. It’s basically the definition of a perfect Tennessee afternoon.
8. Easter in Nashville (April 5)
Music City knows how to do Easter right. For example, the Nashville Zoo hosts some of the best egg hunts for the kids, and the brunch spots in town go all out. It’s a great way to make some family memories without the stress of hosting at home.
9. Nashville Comedy Festival (April 9–19)
Need a good laugh? This festival brings in heavy hitters like David Spade and Kathy Griffin. In any case, seeing world-class comedy in iconic Nashville venues makes for a night you won’t forget.
10. East Nashville Beer Festival (April 11)
East Park is the place to be for craft beer lovers. In fact, you’ll find over 150 unique brews from 50 different breweries. Throw in some live music and even live wrestling, and you’ve got a recipe for a legendary Saturday.
11. Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival (April 11)

This celebration is a beautiful tribute to the friendship between Japan and America. Similarly to the blooms at Cheekwood, the cherry trees in Public Square Park are a sight to behold. You can enjoy traditional Japanese music, food, and demonstrations all day long.
12. Earth Day Festival (April 18)
Centennial Park hosts this free festival, and it’s a fantastic way to celebrate the planet. Additionally, you’ll find interactive exhibits and local makers showing off their goods. It’s family-friendly and a great way to support our local environmental nonprofits.
13. Dine Nashville: The Music City Way (Ongoing)
You’ve got to eat, right? Throughout the season, local chefs are collaborating on some incredible menus. Ultimately, it’s the best time of year to explore new neighborhoods and find that perfect outdoor patio for a sunny lunch.
All in all, Nashville in the spring of 2026 is going to be one for the books. I’m already trying to figure out how to fit everything into my schedule!
